Anything to do with organic, sweet smelling, miracle cures or healthy diets and exercises has been a long term obsession of mine for donkey years. Throughout the years my passion for these things never ceased, in fact it grew stronger, to the point where I spend days browsing online sites just to check out the latest fad on how to make our life a little greener. I remember writing about aromatherapy as a means to relief stress and fatigue in my English SPM examination way back in year 2001! Haha! Back in those days, I didn't have the money nor the information that I have today to do my research about essential oils, organic health food and exercises, and organic health stores was harder to find than a needle in a haystack, literally!

However, as time goes by, and also as Hollywood celebrities begin to embrace healthier n more natural approach to attaining beauty and health, people became more aware too. So to my delight, shops selling organic food, essential oils/spa products and fitness centers began popping up like mushrooms everywhere around Penang this few years and although I can't say we are spoilt for choices, we certainly have more to choose compared to 5 years ago.

Anyway, talk about essential oils, I happen to chance upon this shop called Nature's Gift located at Tg. Tokong, the same stretch as Island Plaza, and what a lovely find I tell you! The service was good and the body shampoo even better..haha...bought it home and mom instantly commented outside my bathroom that the whole house smells so good (geranium scent) when I was bathing. She immediately took a small bottle and demanded that I give her some...a practice I call "House Tax" where a certain percentage of the things(including food) that I buy will eventually go to her :P
I was so impressed or more like in love with their products that I am planning to get their shampoos n conditioner as well. Guess Mom will have to prepare more empty bottles to collect her "Tax" soon!
